Rome–Pescara line doubling: surveys and site support

Topographic and archaeological surveys, documentation and assistance to site management as part of the archaeological excavations for the doubling of the Rome-Pescara railway line, Lunghezza – Guidonia section (RM)

As part of the archaeological test excavations carried out in preparation for the doubling of the Rome – Pescara railway line between Lunghezza and Guidonia, undertaken by Samoa Restauri Srl on behalf of ITALFERR S.p.A., ES provided technical assistance for site management and supervision, as well as topographic and archaeological surveying services.

The excavation brought to light the structures of a Roman-period rural villa and traces of ancient agricultural land arrangements.
