Preventive archaeological excavations for the construction of the Fara Novarese bypass on the SP 299 of Val Sesia

The archaeological excavation campaign at “Fara Novarese” in the Municipality of Novara (NO), carried out in preparation for the construction of a bypass on Provincial Road SP299, brought to light important archaeological remains relating to a necropolis and a Roman-period settlement complex along the route of an ancient road. ES Srl provided qualified personnel for manual stratigraphic archaeological excavation, restoration and scientific documentation.
