Construction management support, topographic and archaeological surveys as part of the reburial of archaeological structures in the Tor Sapienza and Corcolle districts – Rome

An important archaeological site discovered at Corcolle during the construction of the Rome-Naples high-speed railway line had to be reburied. As part of the works carried out by Samoa Restauri S.r.l. on behalf of ITALFERR S.p.A., which involved securing and protecting the Roman-period structures and subsequently reburying them, ES provided technical support for construction site management and carried out topographic surveys and orthophoto documentation of some of the archaeological structures.
