Structural consolidation of the timber floors in the Museum area of Bracciano Castle – 2023/2025

Structural consolidation works on the timber floors in the Museum area of Bracciano Castle (RM), on the first floor of the building’s north wing, where deterioration of the load-bearing structures had been identified that could have compromised the functionality of the rooms. As the building is of historical and artistic significance and is protected by the competent Superintendency, the project, in accordance with the recommendations of Italian regulations (Circular relating to NTC2018), adopted a reversible consolidation solution that is historically consistent with the original structures, using reinforcing timber structures and steel elements.
