Since 1991 we have been at the frontier where past and future come together to shape the present.
About us
Expertise and technology for cultural resource management
ES Progetti
ES and Entasis
EntasiS is the highest expression of form in Classical Greek architecture, it is that infinitesimal deformation of the straight line that transforms stone into a living entity.
ES seeks that subtle boundary where our expertise transforms seemingly ordinary facts into fascinating discoveries.
ES – Entasis stems from the idea that even the slightest curvature, like that of classical entasis, can make the difference between what is merely functional and what becomes memorable. In our work on Cultural Heritage, entasis becomes a metaphor for attention to detail, technical and technological excellence, and our commitment to adding significant value to everything we work on.
We turn information into knowledge
ES consists of three areas that work in close collaboration
- Software Development and Technologies
- Reality digitisation
- Cultural Heritage Works
The STS area specialises in GIS and GEODATABASE systems and in complex management systems for major Cultural Heritage Sites, including latest-generation apps for public access, interpretation and enhancement.
The Reality Digitisation area carries out ultra-high-resolution 2D and 3D surveys and digitisation, creates Digital Twins and performs non-destructive investigations using thermal, multispectral and LiDAR sensors mounted on drones, Ground-Penetrating Radar, magnetometry and electrical tomography. It also carries out monumental and archaeological surveys using laser scanning and digital photogrammetry, as well as Gigapixel reproductions of works of art.
The Works area carries out monumental and archaeological restoration, as well as terrestrial and underwater archaeological excavations. It also provides surveys and Preventive Archaeology services for infrastructure network operators in sectors such as Telecommunications and Energy, Railways, Roads and Water Networks, as well as for all public and private works.
Protecting who we are.
Giving it back to the world.
We turn information into knowledge.
The first enemy of heritage is oblivion. Heritage is not lost only through its physical destruction, but above all when its memory is erased and it is abandoned to oblivion. The data we produce and make accessible help preserve our heritage and project its memory towards a form of universal permanence.
Our vision is to make heritage accessible and tangible:
for those who discover it, those who study it and those who manage it.
Mission & Vision
To be an internationally recognised centre of excellence where technology, culture and integrity come together to generate sustainable innovation.
At ES Progetti e Sistemi, we believe that excellence is not merely a goal, but a continuous journey built on research, knowledge, innovation and values.
We operate with the utmost respect for people, contexts and the responsibilities entrusted to us. Transparency, integrity and trust are not simply choices, but part of our DNA: this is how we build strong and lasting relationships with our clients and partners.
Different skills
to go beyond
Archaeologists, architects, geologists and surveyors alongside analysts, developers and systems engineers.
Many projects get stuck in the handover between those who understand the subject matter and those who build the tools. ES was created to remove that barrier.
Our multidisciplinary expertise allows us to continuously bridge content and technology: less friction, fewer handovers, greater speed and quality.
- A single, qualified point of contact
- Ready-to-use data
- More manageable projects: timelines, roles and responsibilities
Multidisciplinary Innovation
ES is built on cross-disciplinary expertise, where every professional understands both the language of digital technologies and the domain-specific knowledge of Cultural Heritage. This seamless interaction between diverse skills enables us to design and deliver highly advanced, fully integrated solutions that are agile to implement and easy to use.
This organisational structure allows us to:
- Drastically reduce development time
- Reduce the complexity of coordinating different stakeholders
- Provide clients with a single, highly skilled and results-oriented point of contact
In an era where the convergence of content and technology is the key to creating value, we do not simply connect different worlds: we transform them into a single, new one.
