Survey of the Tor Marancio Farmhouses in the Appia Antica Regional Park, Rome

Architectural and structural survey of a group of nine historic farmhouses located in the Tor Marancio area of the Appia Antica Regional Park, Rome. The survey, carried out in preparation for the restoration project, was supplemented by elevation orthophotos and investigations of the masonry and foundations to identify construction techniques and assess their structural capacity. Geotechnical investigations were also conducted to determine the design parameters for the structures. (2010)
